Santi's 1st Birthday Party

On July 19th, Santi turned ONE! I can hardly believe it. Of course we had to throw a big birthday bash…and not just for the kids. Everyone knows baby birthday parties are just as much, maybe even more so, for the adults, so I made sure to add in some adult-friendly details, while also keeping the babies entertained and engaged.

What Santi Wore:
Of course he was going to wear something adorable. Santi’s ribbed overalls and basic tee are from Zara and his sneakers are Golden Goose. The sneakers were a big splurge but I couldn’t help myself because he only turns 1 once! To balance this out, the rest of his outfit was budget-friendly.

Santi loves plants, so I loved the idea of incorporating this. The vanilla cake and cupcakes were succulent-themed, plus succulents were the party favors for the kids and adults. Kids also received a take-home bag with instruments that they used during the party’s music class.

For the adults, we had a charcuterie table, as well as mimosa and margarita bars. I wasn’t about to throw a party without some delicious drinks for the parents!

Moms – If there’s one thing I’m happy I did, it was hire a professional photographer. All too often moms are the ones behind the camera and I didn’t want that for this day. I called the extremely talented Bethann Greenberg and I’m obsessed with the way her photos came out. I’m so thankful I was able to live those little moments instead of being the one capturing them. Follow Bethann on Instagram @bethanngreenberg!

Thank you to everyone who was part of Santi’s big day, whether in-person or sending us virtual love. We had a great time celebrating our little miracle!
