How We Decorated Santi's Nursery

Y’all I am in love with this nursery! It’s been such a labor of love and excitement. I worked with Pottery Barn Kids for the details, both big and little, and I’m so happy Santi is finally here to enjoy it all! From a gorgeous plush rug to a super comfortable rocker to the cutest tiger stuffed animal, I am beyond thrilled with the way the room turned out.

I wanted this space to be neutral and easy to live in. I love bright and bold colors in fashion, but in the baby’s room, I went for hues and textures that I find soothing and relaxing.

It was important to me to include pieces that represent our diverse culture — the Otomi textile above Santi’s crib represents a timeless Mexican tradition that has been passed on generationally in my family.

When you don’t know the sex of your baby, I feel like you can really explore different palettes and lean into colors that allow for something unexpected and beautiful to happen in the space.
