The LV (Travel) Guide: Los Angeles

I’ve been living in Los Angeles for more than a year now and have gotten the chance to take in many of the unique, refreshing, and incredible things about this corner of California. From great food to beautiful beaches and local shops I just can’t get enough of, I’m giving you the scoop on a few of my favorites. This is an easy-to-follow list of some of the best places in LA…and it’s probably the first of many I’ll share!

BLVD and Wright’s in Manhattan Beach and Midland and Teller, both in Culver City.

As y’all know, I love finding fashion pieces that help me exude confidence every day, and these three shops are my go-tos for just that!

Hotel Bel-Air

Whether you go for brunch or go to the beautiful bar and grab a sunset glass of wine.

Facile on Melrose Place and milk + honey

I’m immediately relaxed when I walk into these spas. Everyone deserves a luxurious day of pampering.

Damian

I’m always on the lookout for incredible Mexican cuisine made with the freshest ingredients, and Damian does not disappoint.

Favorite Coffee Shop

Alfred Coffee in Pacific Palisades.

My go-to order is a 22 oz. coconut iced tea. Delicious!

Favorite Date Night Activity

Going to a concert at the Forum!

Seeing live music is SUCH a fun way to spend a night.

Favorite Stroller-Friendly Walk

The Strand

There’s a stretch between Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach called the Strand. It’s mostly flat pavement (stroller-friendly!) and next to the beach (can’t beat the view!).

Favorite Local Kid’s Store

Lollipop Boutique in Redondo Beach

Filled with adorable goods from local designers, the vibe is California cool and I love it for Santi.

Favorite Hotel

The Proper Hotel in Santa Monica

I love this hotel and the best rooftop bar can be found in the Downtown L.A. Proper Hotel.

Favorite Taco Spot

Ditroit Taqueria

A little hole-in-the-wall taco stand. It’s super budget-friendly and they have amazing tacos!
