Layering bracelets creates the perfect opportunity to showcase a gorgeous personality and sense of style…especially when done right! From choosing a complementary color palette to experimenting with large bangles and smaller tennis bracelets, it’s so fun to create a bracelet stack that’s personal and individual. And it’s super easy! Today, I’m sharing a few of my tried and true layering tips to demonstrate how I craft my very own layering look.

Tips for layering

Choose a Color Palette
Working with one main color family will allow differing bracelets to all come together in a gorgeously aesthetic way! Pick warm or cool, neutral or bold, and then add a pop of something different, yet complementary.

How Many is Just Enough?
I aim for 3-5 bracelets in a stack. This amount provides enough variety, while not being too overwhelming that it takes away from the rest of the look.

Mix the Mediums
Change up the material and finish of each piece! Combine a matte yellow gold bangle with a personalized name bracelet in shiny block letters, as shown above. Keeping one theme constant, like incorporating pops of gold, will allow you to play around with texture while keeping the style cohesive.

Combine Casual and Dressy
Layering dressier pieces with a more casual vibe will help balance out a look in a fresh way…and you’ll be ready for any occasion! When you include baguette diamonds in the same stack as fun and bright tassels, you’re guaranteed to stand out wherever you go.

Experiment with Shapes
A variety of shapes and sizes will not only showcase each bracelet by helping to separate them, it’ll also create a visually interesting display and assortment. And jewelry is meant be fun…so play with it!
