Flowers

Now is the time to harness your green thumb…even if you don’t think you have one! Greenery, large blooms, and hanging baskets are all gorgeous ways to elevate your backyard. And if you don’t have a lot of space to work with, consider a vertical garden! These pops of color will add organic dimension and effortless fragrance to your outdoor space. If you’re new to gardening, start with a small patch of ground or a few potted plants. Pro Tip: Native plants will yield the easiest results and will also bring in the bees!

Swing Chair

Adding interesting and comfortable pieces of furniture will help to create a dynamic atmosphere…and enhance that paradise ambiance! Personally, I love a swing chair like this Hanging Rattan Chair from Serena and Lily. It’s relaxing, stunning, and perfect while finishing up some last-minute work from my phone or enjoying a cocktail at happy hour!

Patterned Pillows

This is where you can add some texture! Incorporating an unexpected color or print will enhance your decor and cozy, outdoor pillows will add some softness to your space. The best part? Pillow cases are easily interchangeable…they can be swapped out for the season, the weekend, or anytime you want to switch up your backyard aesthetic! Design Tip: Pair a neutral pillow and one with an intricate pattern to create a visual treat!
